Responsibilities

The Material Handler is responsible for the movement of material throughout the facility.  Job duties include:

  • Execute material picks to Bill of Materials described by Production Orders.
  • Responsible for delivering all kitted Work Orders to the appropriate work center as defined by the routing in a timely manner. 
  • Perform inventory counts / cycle counts and report results to management, assist with Inventory Optimization efforts, and reorganize material storage locations and methods, 
  • Assist in resolving material discrepancies on Work Orders as needed. 
  • Responsible for clear and professional communication 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of inventory controls and cycle count.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of general warehouse procedures.

Education/Experience

 

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in related work activities preferred
