Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Engineer III, you will play a key role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions across two critical areas: new product development and large-scale life-sciences automation projects. This position requires a seasoned engineer with deep expertise in mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing processes, combined with the ability to lead complex engineering initiatives from concept through implementation.

Qualifications

  • Capable of handling multiple tasks, setting priorities and meeting schedules.
  • Demonstrated capability to perform engineering analysis and familiarity with commonly used analysis tools (e.g. FEA, DFX, etc).
  • Good understanding in tolerance analysis and GD&T.
  • Capable of designing/ debugging complex electro-mechanical products.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD is a must; experience in SolidWorks PDM is a plus
  • Must have a strong work ethic and good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter and must be able to work independently with minimum supervision or direction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential.
  • Project budget, timeline and deliverable management.

 

 

Education/Experience

  • BSME/MSME or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 7+ years’ experience in new product development or mechanical engineering role.
  • Design experience with capital/process equipment and small products with significant mechanisms and robotics automation.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes (i.e. Injection Molding, Extrusion, Metal Forming & Stamping) is desirable.
  • Experience integrating industrial design and human factors in design is desired.
