Responsibilities

Hamilton Storage Technologies is looking for a Refrigeration Technician CO-OP to join our Production Team. The individual will support the team in producing specialized refrigeration modules. Responsibilities include cutting, bending, and brazing copper tubing, conducting tests and inspections post-assembly, and preparing completed units for shipment. Additional tasks may involve tube insulation, basic electrical work, and documenting serial numbers and photos of completed units on the server.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills, including drafting/dimensioning familiarity and data interpretation for graph creation and test result visualization.
  • Basic understanding of programming logic and electrical circuit principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction within departments and with company personnel.
  • Attention to detail and consistent work quality while standing for most of the shift.
  • Skills in safely using tools, troubleshooting, inspecting, and testing refrigeration units.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and use negligible force frequently or constantly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Education/Experience

  • Enrollment in a local high school, technical school, or trade school and being in good standing is required.
  • Previous experience working with refrigeration systems preferred.
